Process of starting therapy
Connecting to a therapist can be stressful and uncertain. I want to be as clear as possible about how I work and the process of starting therapy with me.
Consultation
The process starts with a free, 20-minute, confidential phone or video consultation. This is time were you can let me know what you are hoping for in therapy, get to know me a little better, and find out if we are a good fit for one another.

Fees and policies
If we choose to begin therapy together we would establish payment, fees, and policies before meeting.
Individual therapy is $220 per session
Each session is 50 minutes long, typically, once a week. If you would like to meet more frequently, please let me know.
You can pay by any major credit card at the time of service. Standard rates apply.
When you schedule your first appointment, a credit card is required. The card will only be charged if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
If you have a way that you prefer to pay, please let me know. I typically accept payments using Square or Zelle.
Insurance: I do not accept insurance at this time. Some insurances will cover “out of network providers” in some instances. Please inquire with your insurance provider before our first session. It is important to know how much they cover, if there is a deductible, and if they require a co-pay. I am happy to provide any invoices or paperwork that they require.
Scheduling our first session and paperwork
Once we have found a time that works for both of us, I will send you paperwork establishing that you are in my care, describing your rights as a client, and detailing the limits of confidentiality. After that, we can begin the process of therapy.
